DMCA & Copyright Takedown Policy
1. Our Role as an Intermediary
CARIUSB is operated by Powius Ltd and acts as a passive intermediary platform for user-generated content. We do not actively monitor all content submitted by users prior to publication, and we do not endorse or take editorial responsibility for user-generated content. We process takedown requests in good faith and will remove or disable access to infringing content promptly upon receiving a valid notice as described in this policy.
2. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content available on CARIUSB infringes your copyright, you may submit a written takedown notice to our designated contact below. To be valid, your notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material: a description of the material you claim is infringing and its location on our platform (including the specific URL or sufficient detail to allow us to locate it).
- Your contact information: your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good faith statement: a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement: a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Signature: a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
Send your notice to: legal@cariusb.com with the subject line “Copyright Takedown Notice”.
We will acknowledge receipt of valid notices and take action promptly — typically within 5 business days. We may contact you for clarification if additional information is needed.
3. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that content you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Send counter-notices to: legal@cariusb.com with the subject line “Copyright Counter-Notice”.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with applicable law and our commitment to intellectual property rights, we maintain a repeat infringer policy. We will suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are found to have repeatedly uploaded or distributed content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights. Determinations are made at our sole discretion, taking into account the number, nature, and circumstances of infringement reports.
5. Misrepresentation Warning
Please be aware that submitting a false or misleading takedown notice may expose you to legal liability, including liability for damages, costs, and legal fees incurred by us or the affected user as a result of the removal. If you are not certain whether content infringes your rights, we recommend consulting a legal professional before submitting a notice.
6. Other Intellectual Property Concerns
